Everyone is psychic!

We've all felt it...that nagging feeling you get in your belly when you know that you should call someone back. But you didn't make that call, and they chose somebody else to take on an all expenses paid vacation.

Or it could be that feeling that something isn't right and you decide not to sign the paperwork without a lawyer looking at it. And you were right, the crafty wording would have locked you out of your share of the profit over time.

Even more startling, you find yourself starting a new job and as as you are packing up your old office you discover a note of encouragement your Dad had written to you before he died. Was this a coincidence or did your Dad know you needed to feel some confidence just then?

We all question our psychic ability -- it even feels a little scary to believe it. But when we have profound experiences we never forget them.

When we slow down and pay attention to those hunches and pulls we feel, when we allow ourselves to trust and follow our instincts, we will get some truly amazing results.

Tom Peters, management consultant and best selling author:

“Leaders trust their guts.  ‘Intuition’ is one of those good words that has gotten a bad rap.  For some reason, intuition has become a ‘soft’ notion.  Garbage!  Intuition is the new physics.  It’s an Einsteinian, seven-sense, practical way to make tough decisions.  Bottom line, circa 2001 to 2010:  The crazier the times are, the more important it is for leaders to develop and trust their intuition."  (Fast Company Magazine #44, February 28, 2001)
